Sleeping Area & Cot Guidelines

To provide a safe, organized, and comfortable sleeping environment for everyone, please follow these guidelines throughout the camp.

Sleeping Assignment

For the houses: A specific number of participants per Đoàn are allotted to sleep in the houses. The rooms will be labeled with each Đoàn, the ngành, and how many from that ngành will be in that specific room. The houses will have beds and/or cots for each participant.

For the Good Shepherd Hall/St. Joseph Hall: The arrangement will be on a grid system. The images are in the Google Sheet, so please take a look at where your Đoàn is assigned. The stage is reserved for HT males – 24 spots. NS in the Good Shepherd Hall and in St. Joseph Hall will receive a cot to sleep on.

HT Camping: HTs that choose to camp out will have the space in the middle of the houses to pitch up tents. Please make sure to split into 2 sections for HT Nam and HT Nứ.

Storage Tents for Good Shepherd Hall/St. Joseph Hall: Please refer to the map to pitch tents to store belongings. Both areas will need to be cleared each morning before Mass, so that we can use those spaces for activities.

For those that would like to reserve a cot:

– HS will have 50 available to borrow (25 for male, 25 for female)

– HSTT/HT will have a total of 35 to borrow (first come, first serve)

SPECIAL OPPORTUNITIES
BANNER GUIDELINES
Purpose: To visually display your chapters presence at the Convention
SIZE – 3 feet wide X 5 feet long. To enhance the overall appearance of the banner display, a banners must meet this size requirements. Larger banners submitted cannot be displayed.
Please consider the weight of your banner when selecting the type of materials.
CONTENT – The banner should reflect your chapter and/or parish identification.
DISPLAY – Banners will be displayed near the main pavilion . Hem top of banner, include the ½” wooden dowel, and string or ribbon to hand the banner on poles and hooks provided by the BKT
JUDGING – Judging will be done by youth groups. Each Đoàn will vote for what they consider the top banners (excluding their own). Ballots will be counted and awards will be announced.
We strongly encourage the youth to make the banner. It should reflect their energy and creativity, and they have the skills to carry out the projects. Adults can be available as advisors, but the banner will have much more meaning to the group if it is their work. Your Chapter/church banner will be part of the Opening Session or adoration processions!
