May Reflection

Top Three Reasons to Pray the Rosary

For some of us, May is the month of graduations, weddings, and summer planning.  For others, it is about Cinco de Mayo, Mother’s Day, and Memorial Day road trips.  For Pope Francis, he is asking us to pray the Rosary and ask our Blessed Mother’s intercession to help end the pandemic.

Why?

#3 For World Peace

“Continue praying the rosary every day in honor of Our Lady of the Rosary, in order to obtain peace for the world and the end of the war, because only She can help you.” Our Lady of Fatima said said this Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta in 1917.

The Blessed Mother visited the children in Fatima, Portugal that May 13 and on October 13, there was a Miracle of the Sun.

#2 To Know the Truth

“Never will anyone who says his Rosary every day be led astray. This is a statement that I would gladly sign with my blood.”  (Saint Louis de Montfort)

#1 Obtain Necessary Graces

“Go to the Madonna. Love her! Always say the Rosary… Prayer shakes the Heart of God, it obtains necessary graces!” (St. Padre Pio)

And you do not need to pray the Rosary by yourself.  In answer to Pope Francis’ invitation, Marian shrines around the world are livestreaming a Rosary.  Enjoy the beauty of these centers of prayer and let us be united with each other!
