St. Benedict League of Chapters is a new name recently adopted by the Southern Region Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Movement in the U.S.A. We are a nonprofit (not-for-profit) organization that has been granted tax-exempt status by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) according to Section 501(c)(3). Established in 1988, our organization has developed and expanded into 21 chapters from different churches spanning across the five southern states of Arkansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Texas, and Louisiana.
Our purposes are aligned with the national Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Movement in the U.S.A (VEYM.NET). Meet our officers for this current term at http://www.liendoanbienduc.org/about/
Each year, St. Benedict League of Chapters host several activities that include at least two youth-leader training camps, one retreat, and at least one convention for eligible youth members to participate. We also raise funds for charity events and scholarships, aiming to help out in specific causes. Each year, our spending budget can range from $30,000 up to $80,000.
In 2020, our Knights and Companions Convention is anticipating to welcome more than 1,000 youths and volunteers. The goal is to raise at least $25,000 to help reduce registration fee and pay for overnight facility charges. Your prayers and donations will help us tremendously in educating and building faith for these Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth members.
Thank you and God Bless.
